Welcome to Open Dance Academy – online educational portal from the best pole dance instructors from the whole world! Here you will find video lessons of all styles like tricks, spins, transitions, combos, floorwork, pole sport, acrobatics, exotic pole, choreography, stretching and many other things. The site is constantly updating, and new lessons, instructors, and styles will please you!
Our instructors are pole dance stars so we give you a perfect chance to learn from your idols. Maybe you wanted to visit a workshop from one of them, but there are no workshops from this pole dancer in the nearest future. Or you’ve attended once her (or his) workshop and want learn more from her (or him).
Our instructors are the artists and sportsmen with huge experience and track record. They have been improving their techniques for years. Each of them has own mode of instruction, own know-hows, own interesting and original elements to teach. And of course, they will share all their unique features, signature tricks, and the latest things.
But you still can have a question: “Why I need online pole dance lessons?”
There are many reasons why you may need additional pole dance lessons. Even if you’re taking lessons offline there are still reasons to try online video lessons.
It happens sometimes that even after long trainings with your instructor you can’t do some new trick. And the problem maybe in some little detail which escapes your notice. Our school offers detailed online dance videos where the same element is being explained even by different instructors with different approaches and different backgrounds. And maybe you will notice that fine point which will help you to learn this trick.
Even if you are currently taking lessons and your trainer is great it is always better to learn different things from other instructors. They can show you interesting new tricks and transitions which you haven’t studied yet in your school. Or even your school doesn’t offer the style which you want.
Maybe your current trainings are too simple for you and you need to learn something new but it is quite difficult to do it by yourself alone. Or you’ve lost your inspiration for training and now just come into training hall, look on the pole, on the wall, on the ceiling, on the floor … and don’t want to do anything. For such occasions, online pole dance lessons are the real thing. You always find video lessons which match your current mood and physical conditions. Sometimes you want to do the splits and use your flexibility, sometimes you want to apply your power doing new tricks, sometimes you feel yourself stuck to the pole and want to experiment with transitions, sometimes it is quite cold and you don’t want to do anything except spins and floorwork. Also, in cases when your own warm up is not working anymore and your muscles need more intensive work you can warm up with our instructors and mix different exercises according to your current mood. And sometimes every girl experiences the days when you just want to put on your favorite high heels and dance with your favorite exotic pole dancers and feel yourself a beautiful feminine woman.
    Do you teach pole dance?
Sometimes you may face the situation when your student can’t learn some trick and you even don’t know why. So you can look through our video pole dance lessons and watch how experienced instructors explain all nuances of doing that trick or transition and you will help your students to achieve success. You can read our article “Which Pole Dance Class To Take”
Maybe you are tired to give the humdrum lessons with the same material, aren’t you? Do you want to diversify your lessons? Our school offers various lessons with new interesting tricks as well as teaching techniques. We’ll help you to make your trainings interesting and diversified for you and your students.
If the level of your students have become so high that you don’t what else to teach them or those very difficult elements which you know are still not for them, we can help you. In our school you will find a lot of video-lessons for each level and your students will be happy with learning new tricks and elements.
Sometimes your students may ask you for the elements which you can’t show them. For example, you are great pedagogue but your incredibly flexible student wants to do Rainbow Marchenko or your student is a former acrobat (and you are not) and wants to do shoulder mount flip. Here at Open Dance Academy you will find all information how to do such tricks, how to spot your students, what exercises to do before each trick to be prepared better. And all your talented students will be happy with your pole dance classes.
What to do if your students want to explore some new pole dance style like Pole exotic or Pole choreography? But you haven’t had any experience in teaching these styles. We know how to help you to make your students totally happy. Just study out some liaison movements from our instructors and teach your students. Also, you can take the movements you like and create new choreography.
Our site also provides lessons with basic dance movements with pole just to learn how your body moves. When you will learn the basics for dancing movements you will be able to continue your online education and learn dancing combinations and ground tricks.
Do you teach stretching or want to stretch by yourself? At our site, you will find a lot of interesting exercises and techniques for stretching and you’ll be able to choose the one which suits you the best. You can experiment and mix them as you want in order to achieve the best results.
If you are going to take part in pole dance competition or show you may lack some interesting element for musical accent or you want to pass on from one trick to another but you don’t know how to do it. Or maybe you need some fresh choreography or interesting passage from pole to pole? At our site, we have a lot of ideas from world champions which know how to captivate the attention of audience and judges.
Even if you are experienced pole dancer, you know a lot of tricks and spins, you are successful in show and pole dance competitions and you just want to play and have fun during your trainings we are at your disposal. On our site, you will always find something new and interesting to do on pole. Sometimes it may be simple yet interesting spin, sometimes very difficult trick which requires a lot of time to afford. But it any case you will have detailed instructions how to do it.
Even if you just want to do pole dance classes, but there is not pole dance studio in your town or it offers quite an uncomfortable schedule of lessons or you can’t find your proper trainer or proper style, or you are male pole dancer but in pole dance schools there are only female teachers. In all these cases online pole dance lessons are the right thing for you.
If you haven’t found the info you need, just write us and we’ll try to carry out your wishes.
If you are still in doubt you are welcome to watch our demo lessons and try by yourself how it works for you. Or you can try our Trial course to gain more experience and then subscribe to our full courses in order to enjoy learning experience from the world pole dance stars!

Hey, I love this article, thanks for that. I’m thinking of subscribing to online pole dancing lessons I noticed you mentioned this, I don’t know much about it though I keep reading reviews about it but can’t make up my mind as to which course or lessons to go with. Or does it not matter and they are all kind of the same? I would like to get your personal opinion on this. I have read a review on http://justlearntodance.com/learn-how-to-pole-dance which covers some recommended courses. Which one would you say is the best to start out with, I don’t have the type of budget to sign up to all of them and I am no expert. I would love to hear your reply and your recommendation. Kind regards.
