Lera’s Journey in Pole Dance

Lera’s journey into the world of pole dance is a tale of resilience and passion. From her early years, she was captivated by rhythmic gymnastics, dedicating herself to the art until an unfortunate injury forced her to step away. Undeterred, she embarked on a path of recovery and rediscovery, ultimately finding her way to pole dance in 2015.

At the time, Lera was deeply entrenched in the realm of film and television. However, the allure of pole dance beckoned, and she made the courageous decision to pivot towards a more profound and professional involvement. Leaving behind her established career, Lera transitioned into the role of an administrator at a Pole Dance school.

Her commitment to the craft manifested in active participation in championships across St. Petersburg and Moscow, marking her presence on the competitive stage. By 2017, Lera had ascended to the position of a coach at one of the largest network schools in St. Petersburg, solidifying her status as a prominent figure in the pole dance community.

In 2019, Lera took another bold step by establishing her own sportswear brand, a testament to her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to the world of pole dance. The year 2020 presented unprecedented challenges with the global pandemic, yet Lera seized the opportunity to launch her own school, Poletime. Boasting three dedicated halls, this establishment became a hub for pole enthusiasts, with a remarkable 80% of the trainers being Lera’s former students.

Building on this success, 2021 saw Lera venture into the realm of teaching master classes. In her instructional approach, she goes beyond the mere technicalities of pole dance, placing emphasis on the nuanced artistry of the performance. Lera strives to unlock the individual style of each student, guiding them to discover unique movements and empowering them to create their own choreography.
