I grew up in Ryazan, Russia and moved to the United States after graduating from MSU physics department in 2009. I am a nuclear physicist turned SRF (superconducting radio frequency) engineer at a particle accelerator in Virginia. I started pole in 2012, on and off while looking for a good studio close to my small town. I started competing in 2016 and got bronze at USPSF national amateur division that year. I am very happy to help make Open Dance academy lessons available to all non-Russian speakers in the world.
